39th Street
Brooklyn, New York

  1. Removed approximately 41,000 CY of sediments unsuitable for Open Water Disposal

  2. Sediments excavated using a 14 CY “Cable Arm” environmental clamshell style bucket

  3. Sediments were dewatered, treated with Portland cement, and beneficially reused as capping material at the Fresh Kills Landfill Site in Staten Island, NY

  4. Work performed in accordance with required regulations

  5. All work met or exceeded the project specific environmental constraints
