Perth Amboy, NJ

• Mechanically dredged and off loaded contaminated material
from inside the marina onto water tight scows.

• Transported material to a dewatering facility in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey.

• Material was stabilized using fly ash then loaded onto rail
cars and shipped to Pennsylvania for disposal.

• Approximately 30,000 cubic yards were removed at a rate of
1,000 cubic yards per day.

• A turbidity curtain was utilized to contain suspended
sediment within the boundaries of the contracted area.

• Production rate of dredging operation exceeded owner's
expectations.

• Coordinated dredging and off loading activities through tide
cycles for optimum performance.
