Dredged river channel to gain access to CY discharge canal

           • Material processed for disposal as non-regulated dredge spoil

Dredged CY discharge canal to site barge slip generating 3,000 cubic yds of spoil containing low levels of plant related radioactive material

Processed the material by screening, then dewatering with pug mill and addition of small percentage of cement on a batch basis

After processing Cashman loaded material into B-25 boxes supplied by CY onto a barge

          • Loaded containers weighed approximately 9,000
          lbs each

All waste transferred by barge to the Gateway Terminal in New Haven, CT for shipment to ultimate disposal facility
