Here you can see, from above looking north, three of the four city blocks that were restored during the Wharf District Parks project as the final portion of the Central Artery Tunnel Project for the Mass Turnpike Authority.

• Largest and most complex project of the Rose Kennedy Greenway restoration projects

• Restored four city blocks in the alignment of the former raised Central Artery structure

• Work included:

            • Installed and maintained 40,000 SF of Sod Lawn along with                       thousands of various plantings

            • Upgraded drainage and utility infrastructure

            • Construction of a new emergency egress structure to
            the O’Neil Tunnel below

• Beautifully constructed recreational area contains:

            • Multiple and varied site furnishings

           Twelve 35-foot high Light Blades with sophisticated
           architectural lighting components

           A WET Design interactive water feature

           •An interactive fog feature
