Deer Island Marine Facilities
Deer Island, Massachusetts
• Drove 1,200 16-inch diameter pipe piles ranging
from 75’ to135’.
• Constructed a 640 linear foot tied back bulkhead.
• Processed dewatered dredged material into road
gravel.
• Constructed a heavy duty roll-on/roll-off pier
400’x490’.
• Constructed transfer bridges and a personnel
shuttle float.
• Utilized 10,000 cubic yards of micro-silica concrete.
• Constructed a 640’ long relieving platform/pier
facility.
• Constructed on-site concrete batch plant.
