Foundation work included land and water based driven pipe piles and drilled mini-piles. Mini-piles were required to support the structure since they were installed through an existing granite seawall thus precluding the use of conventional driven piles. The mini-pile system was designed by JCI. Concrete work included a suspended slab over the water and a lower level slab constructed approximately 8 feet below high tide.
