Assistant Property Manager

Perfect opportunity for a motivated self-starter looking for growth opportunity. We will provide training and support to the right candidate! This is a full time, year-round position and is part of the Cashman real estate division. This is an ideal role for a hard-working individual with basic handyman skills to provide and oversee general maintenance, improvement initiatives, and upkeep of the properties. This position includes use of a company vehicle.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist with property maintenance, the operations, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of property residences, outbuildings, boats, docks, fences, and irrigation systems.
  • Provide general handyman skills for maintenance and minor repairs to residences, outbuildings, pool, operation and maintenance of irrigation pumps and operating systems.
  • Supervise Marine and Island Operations Team, assigning tasks, scheduling, and overseeing daily activities.
  • Operate pickup trucks with ability to trailer machinery to various locations and service landscaping and gardening equipment, machinery, and tools.
  • Storm preparedness and snow removal.
  • Light carpentry and product assembly.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years landscaping, property maintenance, or related field experience
  • Light carpentry, maintenance, operating power tools and landscaping equipment, small boat operations and/or maintenance, preferred not required
  • Self- motivated, ability to work well with limited supervision and as part of a team
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Employment is conditional on successfully passing a background check and drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience
