Patriot Renewables, a small but successful renewable energy company, is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to support our wind energy operations team in Maine. Our team manages four wind sites with a total of 33 turbines. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in outdoor work, values teamwork, and has a strong work ethic.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who can follow directions, work independently, communicate well with others, and demonstrate basic mechanical and maintenance skills. Familiarity with hand tools and chainsaws is required.

Schedule:
Primarily Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with occasional weekend or evening work during snowstorms for plowing and site access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain office and garage spaces (vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, sweeping, trash removal) across three locations.
• Operate and maintain a variety of site vehicles, including pickup trucks, snowmobiles, ATVs, snowcats, and a dump truck with plow/sander.
• Transport equipment and vehicles using trailers.
• Conduct and document routine SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) inspections at three wind sites.
• Perform weekly substation inspections and maintain stormwater compliance on site roads.
• Plow and sand parking lots and driveways; clear walkways and entrances during winter.
• Mow grounds surrounding site buildings.
• Train staff and contractors on the safe operation of vehicles and snow equipment.
• Conduct bimonthly eagle mortality searches.
• Maintain access to wind turbines, including snow removal and lock repairs.

Preferred (Additional Compensation Considered):

• Willingness and ability to climb wind turbines to assist with maintenance and repairs.
• Computer skills for data entry, ordering parts, and conducting research.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
