Founded in Spring 2021, Patriot Renewable Energy Capital is the tax equity investment arm of Jay Cashman, Inc., a multidisciplinary development and construction company. We invest nationally across all renewable energy asset classes that generate investment and production tax credits.

Position Overview
We are seeking highly motivated Spring 2025 graduates, as well as curious and ambitious professionals, to join our growing Deal Team as an Origination Analyst. This is an entry-level role for individuals with a strong interest in finance, renewable energy, or sales. The position offers significant exposure to deal structuring, market dynamics, and stakeholder engagement in the clean energy sector.

What to Expect in This Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and is eager to learn renewable energy tax equity investing from the ground up. A typical day may include:

• Reaching out to developers and sponsors across the renewable energy sector
• Joining team calls to discuss transaction strategy and market developments
• Assisting in preparing pitch decks and investment memos
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to track, manage, and move deals forward

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the Salesforce CRM, ensuring records are up-to-date, properly tagged, and reflective of recent activity
• Schedule check-ins with existing developers to learn about project updates and explore investment opportunities
• Respond promptly to inbound website messages and voicemails; log all inbound communications in Salesforce
• Identify and add new developer contacts to Salesforce, including detailed notes
• Request project materials from developers (e.g., pitch decks, financials, specifications)
• Build and update financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities
• Conduct ongoing research on renewable energy trends, technologies, and the competitive landscape
• Support the creation of internal and external presentations and investment memos

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed or anticipated by Spring 2025 in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Internship or work experience in renewable energy, finance, or sales preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
