Tower Square Mixed-Use Development

In the mid-1980’s, Cashman purchased a vacant 1906 three-story brick mill building in North Attleboro, MA. The back of the 43,000-sqft unique L-shaped building’s boiler plant faced a high-traffic roadway. Cashman’s innovative reuse of the building was highlighted by transforming this bland, unattractive rear of the building to its front by demolishing the antiquated boiler plant, constructing a three-story glass curtainwall atrium which created a new entrance/lobby, and paving the front to create a 100-car parkinglot. The new mixed-use building housed retail storefronts on the lower level and offices on the second and third floors. This restoration project was lauded by the Providence Journal as a new “jewel” in the region.
